Dia Duit! My name is Julia, I am hosting the Mind and Tide retreat on Inishmore and I would like to personally invite you to join me on this adventure, as hosting this retreat is very close to my heart.
Living seasonally on Inishmore has a very magical effect on me. Every time I return here, I get a moment to pause in life and just breath. (The clear and clean air here definitely helps). Being immersed in this islands truly incredible nature, the slow pace and simple life , has helped me overcome some of the most difficult moments in my life.
When I add freediving, meditation, breathing exercises and walks or stretches to my routines, it amplifies this powerful yet grounding feeling.
Once I recharge myself from the nature, it’s the community, the people I meet, the traditional Irish music and the local food that gives me the fresh boost of energy, ready to pick up and go again. It’s in this beautiful cycle that I have found here on this island of tranquillity and excitement, I decided it needs to be shared with others.
So I would like to share all of this with you. Wherever you may be, whatever your story, goal or mission in life is. This is a retreat made by me for you, to pass onto you the beauty and power of Inishmore, breath-work, freediving and community all put together for a very special 3 day retreat.
Looking forward to welcoming and meeting you on Inishmore!

Cold water boosts circulation, enhancing blood flow and oxygen delivery, which can improve cardiovascular health and stamina.
Cold conditions force you to master breath control, increasing lung capacity and diaphragmatic breathing for better performance.
The cold environment helps improve focus, calmness, and mental resilience, keeping you present and relaxed even in challenging conditions.
Cold water triggers adrenaline and endorphins, providing a natural "high" that boosts mood and mental well-being.
Regular cold-water exposure helps boost your immune system, stimulating white blood cell production for better overall health.
Cold water offers clearer visibility and access to unique marine life, providing an unmatched peaceful and rewarding dive.
